Campaigning ends for the 4th phase of Jharkhand assembly polls

Campaigning for the fourth phase of Assembly elections in Jharkhand ended this evening.

In this phase, polling will be held in 15 constituencies spread over four districts of Dhanbad, Deoghar, Giridih and Bokaro on Monday.

Thirteen assembly segments are in Koyalanchal area and the remaining two – Madhupur and Deoghar – are in Santhal Pargana area.

Campaigning ended at 3.00 pm in Naxal-affected five assembly seats of Bagodar, Jamua, Giridih, Dumri and Tundi, while in the rest of the 10 seats, it ended at 5.00 PM.

Today, BJP President Amit Shah, party Working President Jagat Prakash Nadda and Union minister Smriti Irani held several public meetings.

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha Executive President Hemant Soren, Jharkhand Vikas Morcha President Babulal Marandi and AJSU Chief Sudesh Kumar Mahto also held rallies.
