Campaigning for the sixth phase of Lok Sabha polls ends

Campaigning for the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections 2019 will ended this evening.

59 seats in 7 states will go to polls on May 12 in the sixth phase.

Polling for all 10 seats in Haryana, 7 seats of Delhi, 14 seats in Uttar Pradesh, 8 seats each in West Bengal, Bihar & Madhya Pradesh and 4 seats in Jharkhand will take place on May 12, 2019.

Over 10 crore 16 lakh voters will decide the fate of 979 candidates in this phase.

Over 1 lakh 13 thousand polling stations have been set up for the smooth conduct of polls.

Prominent candidates in this phase are Minister of Science and Technology Harsh Vardhan, Minister for Women & Child Development Maneka Gandhi, Minister of Urban Development Narendra Singh Tomar, Union Minister Radha Mohan Singh and former Chief Ministers of Delhi Sheila Dikshit, former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Digvijaya Singh, former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, former Chief Minister of Haryana Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Jagdambika Pal.

Also in the fray are former Union Ministers Jyotiraditya Scindia, Raghubansh Prasad Singh, Ajay Maken, Kumari Selja. Celebrities turned politicians Manoj Tiwari, Gautam Gambhir, Vijender Singh and Kirti Azad are also trying their electoral luck.
