Celebrating two years of NDA governments rule in the country, PM Narendra Modi addressed a rally in Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday.
Initiating his address to the people gathered, PM Modi said “I have come here to give an account of my work.”
Highlighting the decisions taken by his government, PM Modi said that development is the only solution to country’s problems. He said his government took steps to free poor from the clutches of money lenders by enabling Mudra Yojana.
“Youth wants development so our country’s problems are going to be solved through the medium of development, we have made provisions for small landings through MUDRA and over 1 crore people gave up their LPG subsidy, poor will have a cylinder now..,” said the PM
Targeting congress, the Prime Minister said that his government has done more in 2 yrs than what Congress did in sixty years.
“5 crore poor people will get LPG connection in next 3 years… ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padao’ scheme is meant for every single Indian irrespective of caste, creed or religion.
Saying that his government believes in centre-state cooperation to develop country, Prime Minister Modi said ‘states used to get 35 per cent of total funds now they get 65 per cent of all central funds.’
Home Minister Rajnath Singh who spoke before the Prime Minister said BJP government in UP will focus on farmers if it is elected to power.
Rajnath Singh highlighted the steps taken by his government to address farmer’s distress.
“Crop insurance schemes all losses will be covered… We have brought transparency to governance,” said the Home Minister.
