In the run up to the Assembly polls in Himachal Pradesh, Rajya Sabha TV’s Akhilesh Suman spoke to BJP’s chief ministerial candidate Prem Kumar Dhumal. 73-year-old Dhumal, who has been Himachal Pradesh’s chief minister twice in the past, has vowed to restore credibility of the administration and the system in general once he comes to power.
In the interview, Dhumal went on to criticise the present Congress government under Virbhadra Singh. He blamed the Congress regime for the deteriorating economy and the law and order situation in the state. He also called the Congress’ campaign of ‘zero tolerance towards corruption’ a big joke, alleging that the entire government was knee-deep in corruption.
