To mark the 86th Indian Air Force Day, a grand parade-cum-investiture ceremony was held at Air Force station at Hindon in Uttar Pradesh on Monday.
Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa, Chief of the Air Staff, reviewed the parade.
Air display and acrobatics by the Air Force’s various aircrafts, including Jaguar, Bison, MiG-29, Mirage-2000 and SU-30 MKI fighter jets as well as Rudra helicopters followed the parade.
Witnessing the celebrations, Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa, said that the Air warrior MiG-29 and Mirage 2000 have been upgraded and very soon Tejas will also be upgraded.
On the Rafale fight jet he said it was a “very good package” for India and the jets would be a “game-changer”.
