Addressing a NITI Aayog event in Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked young CEOs to integrate the strengths of society with our systems to bring in change.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and NITI Aayog met with 212 entrepreneurs on Thursday to get their views on almost everything under the sun — jobs, ease of doing business, climate change, tourism, health care, skill development and so on.
Addressing the conference after day long deliberations with young entrepreneurs, Prime Minister asked senior officials in the government to work with young entrepreneurs to bring in synergy using technology and innovation.
“Policy makers in government are relatively senior…the group I am meeting today is young. I want both to work together for India’s good,” the PM said.
Saying that government is cleaning up corruption from grassroots level, Modi said that processes involved in doing business in India are free from obstructionism.
“Corruption was institutionalised. The time has come to change this. The time for middlemen is over,” the PM said.
Modi said that India needs to create an atmosphere where our youngsters want to be teachers and educate others.
“We have big placements in leading business schools, the same way why can’t we have placements recruiting teachers with good pay packages,” Prime Minister asked.
He also invited people working in the private sector to share their experience, ideas, innovations to contribute and help the government to build a ‘New India.’
