In a strong message to separatist leaders fanning anti India passion in the Kashmir Valley, the state police today arrested one of the prominent faces of anti India movement – Asia Andrabi.

Asiya Andrabi has been arrested under the stringent Public Safety Act.

She was arrested in the morning from her residence, sources said.

Central forces and state police have been facing unprecedented attack and stone pelting that first started following the killing militant leader Burhand Wani and recently reappeared in the form of political violence in a bid to by-poll election process.

She is alleged to be the main separatist leader who incites women in the valley to pelt stones at security forces and disrupt normal life.
