Yet another unprovoked ceasefire violation was made by Pakistan on Sunday morning in the Naushera sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to the Army officials, the soldiers gave a befitting reply to Pakistan troops.

No casualties to Indian Army have been reported as of now.

Early reports suggested that Pakistan troops fired along the Line of Control targeting four Indian posts using mortar shells in the firing.

Ever since the surgical strikes on September 29, Pakistan has violated ceasefire over a dozen times. On September 6, Pakistani troops had fired on Army posts along the LoC in Pooch sector.

On October 1, Pakistani troops targeted the Indian posts along the LoC in J&K’s Akhnoor tehsil. No casulaities or injury was reported in the firing.

While on September 30, Pakistan had opened fire from small arms along the LoC in Pallanwala, Chaprial and Samnam areas of Akhnoor sector of Jammu district.
