Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that negligence in personal and social behaviour has been increasing after Unlock 1′ on June 1 and noted that there is need to be alert and follow norms as was done during the lockdown to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
”We notice that there has been a negligence by people in their social and personal behaviour. Like the way we used to meticulously wash hands, used sanitisers, wore masks, maintained social distancing and avoided shaking hands… we see that that is not happening as strictly anymore. That is a sign of worry. This is a serious matter, and we must ensure that we maintain the discipline,” said PM Modi.
