Prime Minister Narendra Modi to convene a meeting of twelve senior ministers today.

PM Modi likely to discuss priorities of the new government in the meeting. According to reports, economic priorities will be on top of the agenda for the new government. Discussion on job and agriculture sectors also likely.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair the fifth meeting of Niti Aayog’s Governing Council on June 15.

He will discuss various issues concerning water management, agriculture and security.

The council, which is the apex body of Niti Aayog, includes all chief ministers, lieutenant governors of union territories, several union ministers and senior government officials.

This will be the first governing council meeting under the new Modi government.
