Addressing a massive rally in Jaipur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi showered praise on the Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhra Raje Scindhina, saying her administration has ensured that both central and state welfare schemes reaches the beneficiaries.
“Don’t forget the circumstances when Vasundhra ji took oath… systems were not working properly. She has changed the work culture in the state,” he said while addressing a rally in a poll-bound state.
The Prime Minister also interacted with the beneficiaries of 12 schemes run by the BJP governments at the Centre and in the state. He will lay the foundation stone for 12 urban infrastructure projects and address a public meeting. He is also scheduled to address the rally at the ‘Amroodon Ka Baagh’, which is close to the stadium.
Modi arrived in a special aircraft that landed at the Sanganer airport. He was welcomed by Rajasthan Governor Kalyan Singh and Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje.
Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the event. Sensitive areas in the city are covered by CCTV cameras, and temporary control rooms will alert the field units if they spot any suspicious activity.
