Prime Minister has embarked on four-nation trip to strengthen bilateral ties.
During his week-long tour, he is expected to visit Germany, Spain, Russia and France where he will meet the top leadership of these countries and discuss strategic cooperation and business relations.
On May 30, PM Modi will be officially welcomed with military honours after that PM and Merkel would hold the fourth India-Germany Intergovernmental Consultations after which both leaders will address a business event where top CEOs from both the sides would be present
Prime Minister will also hold talks with Germany President Frank-Walter Steinmeier
Modi will visit Spain on May 30 and hold bilateral talks with Spain President Mariano Rajoy and will be calling on Spanish King Felipe VI
Thereafter, for the next two days, Modi will be in St. Petersburg in Russia to attend the 18th India-Russia Annual Summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin
It is the first time in history of the two countries that bilateral Summit will be held in Russia outside Moscow. PM will also hold standard restricted talks, delegation level talks and sign agreements, emphasizing on enhancing and strengthening trading and economic relations, followed by a dinner with the Russian President
On June 2, he will visit Paris and hold bilateral talks with newly elected France President Emmanuel Macron. Strategic and nuclear co-operation, and terrorism will be on the agenda for discussion
