Prime Minister Narendra Modi will campaign in three states today. He will lead BJP campaign in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.

Prime Minister Modi will address his first rally of the day in Ambedkarnagar in U.P followed by a rally in Kaushambi. Kaushambi will go to polls in the fifth phase on 6th May, while Ambedkarnagar will vote in the sixth phase.

In Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister Modi will hold an election rally in Hoshangabad. Seven Lok Sabha seats in Madhya Pradesh including Hoshangabad will vote in the fifth phase.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also address a public rally in Rajasthan’s capital, Jaipur. Jaipur will vote in the fifth phase on 6th May.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi will lead Congress charge in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. He will hold rallies in Sitapur and Barabanki.

In Madhya Pradesh, Rahul Gandhi will hold a public meeting in Pipa-ria in Hoshangabad.

AAP chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will also hold roadshows in Delhi.

SP-BSP and RLD will hold a joint rally in UP’s Barabanki today. The joint rally will be addressed by Akhilesh Yadav and Mayawati.

Ten BJP candidates contesting elections from West Bengal have been accorded security by the Centre for a limited period of time.

The decision was taken by the election commission after Union Minister Babul Supriyo’s car was vandalised in Asansol during the fourth phase of voting.

The VIP security cover will be provided to BJP candidates Anupam Hazra contesting Lok Sabha polls from Jadavpur, Arjun Singh from Barrackpore, Union Minister and candidate from Durgapur, S S Ahluwalia. Other candidates include Siddharth Shekhar Das and Shantanu Thakur.

All political leaders getting security cover in the state will be provided armed commandos till the polls get over. The security will be withdrawn by the end of May.

The Election Commission has also decided to conduct remaining phases of Lok Sabha polls in West Bengal under the vigil of Central security forces after several reports of clashes during voting in the earlier phases.

Electioneering is intensifying ahead of the fifth phase of Lok Sabha polls.

BJP chief Amit Shah will address four rallies in West Bengal today. He will hold election rallies in Bon-gaon in North 24 Pargana district, Jala-math in Howrah district, Aram-bagh in Hooghly district and Hooghly district.

BJP chief Amit Shah will also address a poll rally at Vasant Kunj in Delhi in support of BJP candidates Ramesh Bidhuri and Meenakshi Lekhi

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will address a rally at Shastri Park in Delhi in support of BJP candidates Manoj Tiwary & Gautam Gambhir.
