In a series of tweets Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu greeted the nation.
He said, “On the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri, I wish the devout community around the world. On this occasion, when we illuminate our homes, we pray to Lord Shiva to bless us with wisdom and courage to overcome the flaws within.”
On International Mother Language Day, I call upon all the citizens to take a pledge to promote mother tongue and also learn other languages. There is a need for a national movement to promote Indian Languages in a big way. #InternationalMotherLanguageDay
