Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe is set to arrive in India later today for a four-day visit.
The visiting Prime Minister will hold wide-ranging talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi on Thursday. Both leaders are expected to deepen the bilateral ties between the two countries.
The fishermen issue is also likely to figure in the talks. The two leaders are also expected to deliberate on issues relating to maritime security, amid efforts by China to strengthen its naval presence around the waters of the island nation.
