hemant_sorenJharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren said on Thursday that his government had done so much work in just 13 months, which Jharkhand has never witnessed since its creation, but admitted there were several other issues on which work had to be done.

“We have worked on such issues which had remained untouched in 14 years,” Soren told reporters to a query.

Issues like framing Local Policy, proper reservation in jobs for local people, honouring the families who had lost a member or members during Jharkhand movement and giving jobs to their dependents had been among other issues that his government touched upon, he said.

“Still we have to cover several other issues,” he said during his brief interaction with the media after the last day of the monsoon session of the state Assembly ended on Thursday.

The session could be the last before the impending Assembly elections.

A team of the Election Commission has already visited the state and took the views of leaders of different political parties and issued directions to the officials on dos and don’ts.
