In an exclusive interview to Rajya Sabha TV, BS Yeddyurappa, BJP’s chief ministerial candidate in Karnataka, said he is confident of winning the May 12 assembly polls.

On being asked why his son was denied a ticket to contest, he clarified that the BJP’s central leadership did not want father and son to contest together as the party is not in favour of dynastic politics.

Yeddyruappa confidently stated that the minority status to Lingayats won’t dent BJP’s vote bank. He minced no words to say that Lingayats are committed to the BJP.
